With a career spanning over 25 years as an actor, singer, voice artist, master of ceremonies and entertainer – Salvatore Coco is one of Australia’s most accomplished performers.
At the age of nine Salvatore joined a theatrical institute where he was trained in Acting, Singing, Dance and Musical Theatre developing into one of Australia’s foremost performing artist.
Since his early years with the Australian Theatre for Young People, Salvatore broaden his theatrical schooling by studying the techniques of Sanford Meisner, David Mamet and P.A.A
With a solid education in acting his ability to diversify and deliver a versatile performance style is a testament to his acting credentials to date.
2016 had audiences glued to their seats seeing Salvatore star in Screentime’s award winning television series “The Secret Daughter” on the Seven Network and Endemol Shine’s groundbreaking two-part series “The Peter Brock Story” which aired on the Ten Network. To add; SBS’s critically acclaimed drama “The Principal” and Shine Australia’s “Catching Milat”.
Salvatore’s notable television credits include “Underbelly: The Golden Mile”, “East West 101”, “Home and Away”, “Love My Way”, “Water Rats”, and is Internationally renowned for his role in Heartbreak High as Con Bordino.
On film Salvatore starred in Shirley Barrett’s comedy “Walk the Talk” and has featured in Disney’s “South Pacific”, Dein Perry’s “Bootmen”, “Looking for Alibrandi” and the award winning “Two Hands” and “Heaven’s Burning”.
Salvatore’s theatre credits include Short & Sweet Theatre festival finalists “The Pond” and “The Rules of April”.
In early 2018 Salvatore worked once again alongside Director Gregory Jordon and Fadia Abboud in Roadshow Rough Diamond’s “Australian Gangster” a mini-series which will air on the Seven Network and played “Rocco Bellini” in the return of “Seachange” which premiered on the Nine Network August 2019.
